Stone & Lea’s Rhubarb + Vanilla Bean Jam is a First Prize Winner at the Redcliffe Show 2017 and is also the makers favourite! Handmade using the freshest and biggest Rhubarb from Mt Tamborine in Queensland and blended together with a split and scraped vanilla bean pod sourced from family owned organic vanilla farm Wild Vanilla, grown in the rainforest of the Atherton Tablelands in Far North Queensland. We slow cook our jam using the traditional jamming method using no added pectin, allowing the sugar and lemon juice to naturally set and preserve the jam. The natural sourness of fresh Rhubarb gives this jam a lovely tart flavour, with the delicate essence of the vanilla bean for that delicious after tone.
